Bias in the Media?
The media influences our thoughts everyday. Whenever we listen to the radio, go on the computer, turn on the TV or looking in the newspaper (although not many kids do) the Media is always there. Usually whenever someone reads information he-she usually believes it and never double checks to see if this information is true or not. Me, I never take the time to verify my facts but I will if I have a project I will verify my sources. In the newspaper, there are not many bias, except for certain articles otherwise, the newspaper usually just states the facts. Internet sources are usually extremely bias, you can look up people's opinions on anything. Broadcast news are not usually bias because news usually just states the facts.

Wikis
I explored 3 different wikis, http://www.libraryforlife.org/subjectguides/index.php/Main_Page, wikipedia.com, and http://meredith.wolfwater.com/ala2006/index.php?title=Main_Page. I didn't really like any of them except for wikipedia.com. Wikipedia is much more efficient and you can look up anything and find an article about it. The reason that I picked these sites is because I already knew what wikipedia was and the other two were on the slide show. You could use wikis in class by looking up information that you need in a snap. Everytime that you look up some sort if information Wikipedia always pops up. I think that teachers can create personal wikis that they can use to teach the class and use wikis to show information to the class.

My Photostory
I made a photo story on some of my pictures of my vacation to Sri Lanka but this is a small piece of the hundreds of pictures that we have.
I will miss Cornerstone!
I didn't go to the dance... my mom wouldn't let me. I am going to miss all of my friends in Cornerstone as well as some of my friends. I think that the years that I spent in Cornerstone have mad a difference in my life by showing me which people are the right people to hang out with and that even though some classes are hard, I have the ability to get through it. I think that I am going to cry on the last day of school.
